My name is Leo Kagan, and I am 11 years old. Two years ago, my mom showed me a video about a little girl who "gave up her birthday" for charity:water after learning that every day, 5,000 kids die from water-related illnesses—many before they reach their 5th birthday.

I was really inspired by her story, and I decided to give up my 9th birthday for charity:water. I raised $1360 that year. Last year, I did it again and raised $3058. This year, my baby brother Dylan (who turns 10 in December) is joining my fundraising team and giving up HIS birthday for charity:water too.

Together, we hope to raise $5000 by the end of this year, and with your help, I know we can do it!

The way the birthday campaign works is you donate $22 ($1 for every year of my life + $1 for every year of Dylan's!) instead of getting us birthday presents or sending birthday cards or whatever.

100% of the money we raise will go toward clean water projects around the world, and you'll get to see exactly what the impact was of your donation after the water project starts next year.
