In Loving Memory of Lachlan Hugh Schieb 12/18/18- 2/27/20
It is with an unfathomable sadness that we tell you of the sudden passing of our beautiful boy Lachlan Hugh Schieb. We are all devastated by his passing, and our worlds are forever changed.
Lachlan was such a happy child and melted the hearts of everyone that he and his brother Oscar met. They were double trouble in the best way. Being an identical twin, we cannot comprehend what Oscar has also lost.
Lachlan was our little hero, and he became a hero to another family by giving their child the gift of life with his heart valves. The kindest gift he could have given another family with his passing. We have been updated and told his organs are continuing to save the lives of others.
Though Lachlan is gone, he will never be forgotten, and in Lachlan's name, we hope you can join us by helping others. Instead of flowers and other gifts, we hope that you can help others by donating and helping to save the lives of others.
Your donation will go into sponsoring a specific project or projects that we will nominate at the closure of this campaign.
100% of the money will be used to build clean water projects, and when they're complete, charity: water will send us photos and GPS coordinates so we can see the exact community we helped.

We found a project that would have the most impact. Your donations will be going to fund a water project at a school in Ethiopia. Your donations will provide over 300 children clean water at their school. This will give these kids a much better opportunity to learn and become educated.
We will also be looking at other opportunities to donate school materials, food, and clothes in the future, and help as many children as possible.
The project will take between 12-18 months to complete, and we will be giving you and your family updates as construction progress. This will include written updates, photos, and videos. We look forward to celebrating its opening with you.
Thank you again for keeping Lachlan's memory alive and helping other kids in the world. We are glad you are coming on this journey with us.
