When I saw Scott Harrison speak at the 2012 World Domination Summit I pledged to "give up my birthday" for Charity: Water

Why? Because Scott explained that almost a billion people on our beautiful "water planet" are living without access to clean water. Millions of children don't live to see their fifth birthdays. And why? Because they don't have access to clean, safe water.

So I'm asking for a minimum of $10 from everyone I know -- and the cool thing about Charity: Water is that EVERY PENNY of the money raised will go directly to fund clean water projects in developing nations. Even better, charity: water will show us exactly which projects we funded once they've been fully completed (which takes about 18 months). We'll be able to see the communities we've helped!

It takes $5000 to build a well that will bring clean water to a village of 250 people. That's my goal. My birthday is August 11th but we have until 9-30-2012 to raise the money. If you set aside $1 a day you can make a $50 donation by then. If 100 of us do this, we can easily make this goal a reality!
