I've had 30 birthdays with clean water. There are 800 million people who don't have clean water today. Change it.

My 30th birthday is almost here. I love birthdays, and this year I'm really thankful to have lived another happy, healthy year. Millions of kids around the world don't live to see their fifth birthday because they don't have access to clean, safe drinking water. I've had 30 birthdays. Let's give more people more birthdays.

This year, I'm combining my love for pie with my love for birthdays to raise money for water. Not only will your donations provide water, but they may just provide you with a slice of pie.

Every penny of the money raised will directly fund clean water projects in developing countries. Even better, charity: water will show us exactly which projects we funded once they've been fully completed (which takes about 18 months). That means we'll know the locations and names of the communities we helped. Two years ago, you helped me raise $603 which is now in a village in Ethiopia! This year, I want to raise another $600. That's enough to give 30 people access to clean water.
