There are 800 million people in the world living without access to clean water. Let's change that!

Many of us have no idea what it's like to be thirsty. We have plenty of water to drink -- even the water in our toilets is clean!

But many people around the world don’t have that luxury. Every day, 2,200 kids die from water-related illnesses before they reach their fifth birthday. But it doesn’t have to be that way. There are simple solutions like drilled wells, spring protections and BioSand Filters that help provide clean water to communities around the world.

We, Mike and Erin Hannum, started this fundraising campaign by committing ourselves to doing 1008 Yoga Sun salutations within a 10 day period to help charity: water build these types of projects around the world, and we are looking for anyone who can help us.

We completed all 1008 and fulfilled our commitment on Sunday, August 24th. Then the campaign moved around the planet as friends of ours in different states and countries offered to do 108 Sun Salutations of their own so that even more people will get clean water. Mike did another 108 sun salutations last Sunday (Sept. 28th) as a final push. There is a swell of compassion building and we are all part of it! Please donate to our campaign -- anything you can give is a huge help.

100% of the money will be used to build clean water projects, and when they’re complete, charity: water will send us photos and GPS coordinates so we can see the exact community we helped.
