On December 8, I will turn 50. The last thing I need are presents. I have a good life and my basic wants and needs are easily met with what I already have. I have not done this for a few years but this year I once again am going to "give away" my birthday. Rather than self-celebration I want to instead use the occasion to do some good in the world.
