So looks like my birthday is coming back around. Every year I get "stuff". Just stuff. I'm well beyond the point where I need more stuff that inevitably piles up in my house.

As such, I'd much rather put my birthday to a better use. This year I'm giving up my birthday so that others might have more birthdays themselves. Specifically I'm talking about the unfortunate souls in rural third-world areas around the world where clean water isn't available.

Here in the US, we take clean water for granted. We flush more clean water down the toilet in a day than someone in Africa might be able to have in an entire year. I'd like to encourage you to help me in my cause: give 250 people clean water for twenty years.

It's going to take $5,000 for me to reach this goal. If you can donate $1 for every year I've been around (26) then that's clean water for at least one person for twenty years. This is very important to me, and I hope that it is to you.
