My name is Max Wysocki and I am 16 years old. During this time of the pandemic we have all struggled, have been scared and have had to live life in a much different way than we normally do. It has been during this time that I have felt a strong need to give back in a big way and help those in desperate need. Water is the foundation of all life. 785 million people do not have access to clean water. That means 1 out of every 10 people in the world do not have access to safe water to drink. Many children do not have the opportunity to go to school because they have to collect water for their families, walking miles every day to collect and carry home water that is dirty and unsafe to drink. We take water for granted when we turn on a faucet, brush our teeth, use the bathroom, all things we do daily without thought or gratitude. I have teamed up for the third time with the amazing organization Charity Water, who sends 100% of my donations directly to the field. This meaning every penny I raise goes to build the physical well. For every 40 dollars I collect, one person will get access to clean drinking water. I thank you in advance for helping me change the world.
