Dear friends and family,

I turn 47 on November 18, and I feel incredibly blessed. I've got an amazing husband, three wonderful children, and an overwhelming list of great friends and colleagues. I also get to come to work each day to a job I love. 

I’m very fortunate, and I have the kindness and generosity of you and the other members of my friends and family to thank. So thanks…and now I am going to ask for a little more kindness and generosity.

This year, I want to use my 47th birthday to pay it forward and support a nonprofit called charity: water. Their mission is to bring clean drinking water to every person on the planet, and currently, 663 million people live without this basic need. 

Thanks to a small group of 130 private donors that cover all the overhead, 100% of all donations directly fund clean water projects, and they prove each project with photos and GPS on Google Maps. 

To kick things off, I made the first donation. Please join me in helping provide clean water to those who need it.
