I regard each day a birthday. It's a birth of a new day but also a new day for us to live life to the fullest and make the world a better place. I am fortunate to live a life where I don't have to walk many miles to find water. Mostly dirty water. I have a toilet to use. I can wash my hands, drink cold water and have a shower whenever I want. I live in luxury in that sense.

Not all of us have that luxury. I found out that millions of people don't live to see their 5th birthday. And why? Because they didn't have access to clean, safe water.
But I would like you and I to help my "1birthday4water"-campaign to provide that for those who don't have that luxury and necessity. So I have decided to give my birthday away to help another person or village to enjoy the experience of clean water. If you donate $20 to my "1birthday4water"-campaign, you will help 1 person to have clean water for 20 years! I hope to raise enough money - $ 5000 - to be able to provide clean water for 250 people for 20 years.

My birthday wish this year is not for more gifts I don't need; it's to give clean and safe drinking water to some of the billion people living without it. I want to make my birthday matter this year.
