On March 31st, I started a solo cycling trek across Africa, from Cairo, Egypt to Cape Town, South Africa, approximately 11,000km's in length. I'll be stopping at the lowest point in the continent (Lac Assal, Djibouti), and the highest point in the continent (Mount Kilimanjaro, Tanzania) along the way. I'm doing this as an effort to raise $10,000 for the non-profit organization charity: water.
Every expedition I go on I like to fundraise for a charity, and charity: water holds a special place for me as I will be going through multiple countries on my ride in which the organization has active water projects.
