Water changes everything. Diseases from unsafe water kill more people every year than all forms of violence, including war. In Africa alone people spend 40 billion hours every year just walking for water, usually women and young children bear this burden. This year my birthday wish is to give the gift of clean water to those who so badly need it. So for my 39th birthday on January 15, in lieu of spending any money on a dinner or a party or presents, I am asking friends and family to donate to my charity water campaign and help make my birthday truly meaningful by helping to provide clean water!
