Round 2 Everyone!

This time we are raising to help build a well for a school in an underdeveloped nation. The children at school do not have access to clean water. All proceeds from this campaign are used to ensure that by 2012 we will help at least 1 school out, and that means a lot!

Working out the math:

All expenses to create 1 Well = $5,000.00

1 Well provides an average of 250 people with clean water.

About $20.00 will help 1 person out!

Whats so different about this project?

CharityWater has constructed an amazing business model. One in which, the employees are paid through sponsors and private donations, and 100% of the public donations are used towards these water projects.

My main goal is to ensure that any money that I am giving to an organization on charitable terms should be used appropriately.

More than a billion people don't have access to safe drinking water. I don't mean that their pipes don't work; I mean that they have to walk hours each day to collect dirty water from stagnant ponds and muddy rivers. And the crazy thing is that for so many people, like for us here, clean water runs in lakes under their homes and village. But they don't have the drilling equipment or the money to reach it.

When I learned that only $20 can give someone clean, safe water for two decades, I decided to start a campaign to help. Now, my goal is to raise $1,000 to assist in building 1 well in an underdeveloped nation.When projects are complete, every dollar is tied to village and all the wells are posted on Google Earth.

Here in the United States, we use about 400 billions gallons of water each day. That means the average family of four is responsible for about 400 gallons per day.

Unbelievably, 80% of all diseases in the world are caused by unsafe water and poor sanitation.

After learning more about charity: waters work, I know I can make a dent in the global water crisis. I'm starting a campaign and in the next three months,
