Why Rory Ross is fundraising for clean water

Many of us have no idea what it's like to be thirsty. We have plenty of water to drink -- even the water in our toilets is clean!

But many people around the world don’t have that luxury. Every day, about 1,400 children die from diseases caused by unsafe water and poor sanitation. But it doesn’t have to be that way. There are simple solutions like drilled wells, spring protections and BioSand filters that help provide clean water to communities around the world.

I started this fundraising campaign to help charity: water build these types of projects around the world, and I'm looking for anyone who can help me.

Please donate to my campaign -- anything you can give is a huge help.

100% of the money will be used to build clean water projects, and when they’re complete, charity: water will send us photos and GPS coordinates so we can see the exact community we helped.

Last month, I didn't get too many acting gigs sadly but true to my word here is 10% of the little I did. It's not much but this will help another receive clean water that is essential for life. I hope that you too will see my gesture and join me in changing lives. Nothing is crazy, the craziest thing is doing nothing <3

Charity Spotlight: Since the inception of my acting career, I've wanted to use the spotlight and exposure from my work to bring awareness to great charities that do incredible work. To honor that commitment starting this month, I will give 10% of my earnings each month to the charity that is spotlighted that month.
I'm pleased to announce that this month's charity spotlight is one that is very dear to my heart: Charity Water. This amazing organization brings clean water to many, train locals to become engineers so to leave the well self-sustained long after the drill team leaves, and more importantly 100% of the donations made by you or I goes straight to building the wells. Sometime during the first week of May, I will choose a lucky winner who has donated to the campaign & send them an autographed Teefury T as a personal gift of gratitude for their help in changing the world into a better place. Thank you all so much for your support & encouragement with my career and most importantly bringing awareness to great causes such as Charity Water & making a difference in the lives of many.
