It's time to GET DIRTY.
On March 22nd, Rubicon Property is honoring World Water Day with the culmination of our "Get Dirty" social media campaign. We've been asking people from around the world to take pictures of dirty water glasses and submit it to us. We're displaying all the images on on Pinterest board. You can read more about the campaign here: rubiconNYC.com/blog
Clean water. We drink it, we wash our food with it, we even clean our streets with it. With such an abundance of access to clean water, its easy to forget over 1 billion people on the planet are without it. This lack of access kills more people each year than all other forms of violence on earth - including war. Each week, 42,000 people die, mostly children, from diseases borne out of dirty water. But we can do something about it.
Here's how.
Rubicon Property, www.rubiconNYC.com, seeks to connect the essential element of living in the US, which is real estate, with the essential element of the developing world, which is clean water. Every 90 days our firm is committed to funding the construction of 1 clean water well. Even if you aren't in the market, you can still make a difference.
On this page you can make a contribution that goes directly to those in need. We hope you will join us in helping to bring clean water to a community in need.
Thanks to everyone who signed our charity wall!
I graciously thank my guests on my March 24, 2012 "River-to-River" Walking Tour across Manhattan for their contributions!
