Welcome to my 30 for 30 for Clean Water campaign page! There are many reasons for choosing this specific title. I’m turning 30 soon and I have decided to celebrate by pledging my birthday for clean water. Coincidentally, it turns out $30 is what it takes to bring access to safe and clean water to one person. My goal is to be able to help at least 30 people and I hope together we will be able to surpass it!

charity:water is an incredible organisation that is dedicated to transparency and making a real difference. Private donors cover the operating costs of charity:water so that all of the public donations can go to actual water projects around the world.

In other words, 100% of the money fundraised through this campaign will be used to build clean water projects, and when they’re complete, charity: water will send us photos and GPS coordinates so we can see the exact community we helped.

Many of us have no idea what it's like to be thirsty. We have plenty of water to drink -- even the water in our toilets is clean!

But many people around the world don’t have that luxury. Every day, about 1,400 children die from diseases caused by unsafe water and poor sanitation. But it doesn’t have to be that way.

There are simple solutions like drilled wells, spring protections and BioSand filters that help provide clean water to communities around the world.

I started this fundraising campaign to help charity: water build these types of projects around the world, and I'm looking for anyone who can help me.
