Water is life’s most basic need. Still, almost 800 million people are without access to clean water. Women and children spend more time collecting water during the day than any other activity. Often the water they collect is contaminated with E Coli, Salmonella, and Cholera.
At Summit our mission is to Excel and Lead. We do this in many ways. One way is by being good citizens and that means globally too! Third graders are meeting our mission by synergizing to apply academic principles to real world problems, like the water crisis.
Giving access to clean water can absolutely change a person’s life. That's a legacy we want to leave.
