Welcome to our Charity Water campaign,

Many of us have no idea what it's like to be thirsty. We have plenty of water to drink -- even the water in our toilets is clean!

Information about the charity:

Charity Water is an organization that raises money to help get clean water to those who don't have access. They build wells so that the towns can have a water supply and not need to walk miles to the closest source of clean water. Water is a basic need for all people, and contaminated water can cause diseases and make one sick. Every day about 1,400 children die from diseases caused by unsafe water and poor sanitation. But it doesn’t have to be that way. There are simple solutions like drilled wells, spring protections and BioSand filters that help provide clean water to communities around the world. At Charity Water they donate 100% of the money raised to the cause and none of the money raised goes to anyone for pay, including the CEO. All donations go directly to those in need.
Why you should donate:

Let’s put either you or someone you know in this situation and think about what you would want someone to do for yourself to receive the clean water you most definitely need. Just by sparing a few dollars you can change someone’s life and help them get the clean waters they need.

100% of the money will be used to build clean water projects, and when they’re complete, charity: water will send us photos and GPS coordinates, so we can see the exact community we helped.

How much should one donate:

It’s important to note that any amount of money is helping people. If you want to help one person get access to fresh and clean water, it would only cost $30. However, one doesn’t need to donate that amount of money. If one donates less than the given amount the donation when given to Charity water can be added to their funds and you yourself have made an impact on someone. That is not something that people can go around saying every day, but it is something we should be striving to do. Welcome to our Charity Water campaign.
