goal
The Waterboy Express is a fundraising campaign, created by a couple of ordinary student at the University of Nottingham. We are attempting to take our bicycles 3000 miles / 4800 km going from Nottingham, UK to La'youne, Western Sahara. As a symbolic gesture, we will deliver a clean bottle of water with us down to our destination.
Indeed as we set off this summer, there are indeed a few side constraints to consider. With temperatures reaching as high as 50°C and with Ramadan around the corner in the Moroccan and the Western Saharan part of the journey, it will surely be a challenge.
However, learning more about the water charity: water's work, we know we can make a difference in the global water crisis. We're supporting charity: water to help build clean water projects for people in need.
100% of the money we raise will go directly water project costs, funding long-lasting clean water solutions for people in need.
Please join us and help give clean water! And do please visit our Facebook and Twitter page to follow our progress
