Providing and protecting clean water has been one of our major passions since the early days of Aveda, and we’ve raised funds for water during Earth Month since 2007. This year, we’re shaking things up and renewing our commitment by announcing an exciting new global partnership with the nonprofit charity: water. Why charity: water? We chose the organization because of its ability to
drastically change lives: when a community has access to clean water, it can improve health, increase access to food, grow local economies, and help kids spend more time in school. This helps end the cycle of poverty.

THE STORY OF CHARITY: WATER
charity: water is a nonprofit organization bringing clean and safe drinking water to communities in need. Since 2006, charity:water has funded over 29,000 water projects around the world to help 8.4 million people get access to clean water, hygiene, and improved sanitation.
