We're William and Tori.
And we just got engaged!
If you're coming to our campaign for the first time… We set up this campaign as a way to help us figure out when to get engaged, and because we wanted to do more than just celebrate this important decision by ourselves… We wanted to do something more!
So our goal was to raise $5000 to fund at least 1 water project, and the moment we hit that goal would be the moment that I would propose to my girlfriend!
Well… Yesterday, we hit that goal and surpassed it in a matter of hours!
So I had to rush over to my girlfriend's church, with a ring I bought at a dollar store, and a flower I cut from one of the church's flower pots (sorry God!).
I proposed to her on the spot, without much preparation… And although I was incredibly nervous…
She said "Yes"!!!
It was an extremely special day for us, as we were able to get engaged on the day Christ was resurrected!
What better day could God have set apart for us?
So we wanted to thank you charity: water and all of our other supporters for your love, support and prayers!!
….
But we're not done!!!
As of today, we are switching gears and continuing this campaign to "She Said "Yes"!"
We'd like to ask all of you to join with us as we celebrate our engagement, and as we prepare for our wedding!
We have a long way to go, but with what God has been doing with this campaign? I see no reason why would should lack any faith!! Seeing as how we were able to raise around $6000 in 12 days, we do not think there would be any problems in raising $20, 000 in the next 79 days!!! Even if we don't, we are extremely excited that we will at least be able to fund 1 water project! But by faith, let's see how many more we can all fund!!!!
So come join us as we celebrate this important milestone in our lives… and so we can provide clean water to even MORE people!
