As the founder of Saint Lewis Brewery, I’ve dedicated myself to making sorrel—a Caribbean spiced hibiscus drink that I believe is the most delicious drink on Earth. But the truth is: it all begins with something simple. Water.
我是 Saint Lewis Brewery 的創辦人，致力於製作洛神花飲（Sorrel）——一款來自加勒比海、帶有香料風味的洛神飲品。我一直覺得它是世界上最美味的飲料，但其實，它的一切都始於最樸實的原料：水。

I use water to create a luxury. A treat.
Meanwhile, millions of people around the world don’t even have enough clean water to survive.
我用水創造出一種奢華的享受，一杯讓人驚豔的飲品。
但同時，這世界上卻還有數百萬人連基本的乾淨飲用水都無法取得。

That imbalance doesn’t sit right with me.
這樣的對比，讓我難以安心。

Every pot of sorrel I make carries the spirit of my grandmother, who immigrated from Saint Lucia to Canada and showed her love by making this drink for our family. She made it not for profit, but for love. That’s why I started this business—not just to sell a product, but to share love and build something meaningful.
每一鍋我親手熬煮的洛神飲，都承載著我外祖母的愛與精神。她從聖露西亞移民到加拿大，用這杯飲品表達對家人的關愛。她製作這飲料，不是為了賺錢，而是為了愛。這也是我創業的初衷——不是只為了營利，而是為了分享這份愛與文化。

And love takes action. 而真正的愛，來自於行動。

That’s why I’ve committed to donating 10% of all profits to charity: water—to help bring clean drinking water to those who need it most.
因此，我承諾將10% 的營利捐贈給 charity: water，幫助世界上缺水的地區建設乾淨飲水的設施。

But right now, my business is still in its early stages. Profits are small. Growth takes time.
So to live my values now, I’m starting this fundraiser to help make up the difference.
