Right now, 100% of all one-time donations go to our COVID-19 Relief Fund.
Dearest family and friends,
Can you believe it! Lila is already three years old! Once again, we are not asking for any gifts this year (for her birthday or the holidays), however, if you feel compelled, we are asking for donations in any denomination of $18. Since the number 18 has great significance in the Jewish faith, our goal is to raise $540 in Lila's name, to provide 18 people with clean, drinkable water. 100% of all donations made go towards providing clean water (nothing goes towards company overhead).
We are continuing to make this a yearly campaign (occurring every year on or around Lila's birthday) because we would like Lila to grow up with a sense of duty and responsibility for giving back and helping others less fortunate.
For more information about this charity, please read their mission statement below:
"Many of us have no idea what it's like to be thirsty. We have plenty of water to drink -- even the water in our toilets is clean!
But many people around the world don’t have that luxury. Every day, about 1,400 children die from diseases caused by unsafe water and poor sanitation. But it doesn’t have to be that way. There are simple solutions like drilled wells, spring protections and BioSand filters that help provide clean water to communities around the world.
I started this fundraising campaign to help charity: water build these types of projects around the world, and I'm looking for anyone who can help me.
Please donate to my campaign -- anything you can give is a huge help.
100% of the money will be used to build clean water projects, and when they’re complete, charity: water will send us photos and GPS coordinates so we can see the exact community we helped."
All donations made to Lila’s campaign
Diseases from unsafe water and lack of basic sanitation kill more people every year than all forms of violence, including war. Your donation will help change that.
100% of the money raised by this campaign is being used to bring clean water to help those in need. In 21 months we’ll be able to show you exactly where the money went and who it helped.
