This campaign closed on Apr 14, 2013 Nathan Agin brought clean water to Felafle.
On February 12th, I'm turning 32. Not really that old, especially when you consider Lincoln would have been 204.
But I recently found out that millions of people don't live to see their fifth birthdays. Why? Because they don't have access to clean, safe water.
Pretty unbelievable, right? Particularly when you think about how abundant clean water is in the US, Europe, and many other places.
I'm asking for $32 from everyone I know -- and every penny of the money raised will go directly to fund clean water projects in developing nations. Even better, charity: water will show us exactly which projects we funded once they've been fully completed (which takes about 18 months). That means we'll be able to see the communities we've helped!
My goal is to raise $320 by April 14th. That amount can bring 16 people clean water (and if we raise more, we help more). :)
Very awesome, indeed.
Please join me to make this birthday count.
Thanks so much,
p.s. - I learned about this wonderful organization at the 2012 World Domination Summit. I was one of the hundreds who stood up and donated my birthday to the cause. Very inspiring to see how everyone else has contributed, and now I want to play my part. Thanks again for your support! :)

Diseases from unsafe water and lack of basic sanitation kill more people every year than all forms of violence, including war. Your donation will help change that.
100% of the money raised by this campaign is being used to bring clean water to help those in need. In 21 months we’ll be able to show you exactly where the money went and who it helped.
