Tanzania is one of the largest countries in Africa, but almost half of its 53.4 million people live on less than $1.90 per day. Life expectancy is just 61.71 years. Investment in water and sanitation lags well behind the projected need for Tanzania’s growing population.

To meet demand, we're building new wells, rehabilitating existing structures, and installing hygienic block latrines.
