Tiny Heroes

Josiah

Josiah started his first business before most kids have started kindergarten. He’s already been running his recycling start-up, J Go Green, for five years! Along with picking up bottles and cans for his clients, Josiah also creates engaging (and hilarious) videos on Instagram about how we can all do our part to save the planet.

With the help of his dad, Josiah set up a system for his personal and business accounts. His finances are distributed into four categories: saving, spending, investing, and giving. After researching charity: water, he decided to give 10% of his income to clean water.

I saw a video where people were drinking dirty water out of a river. It was all brown. I felt really bad for them, so I chose to help them get clean water. I love helping people and I thought that charity: water would be the best way to help other people get clean water.

I like giving money that I make from my recycling business because I think everyone in the world deserves clean water. Even a little bit of money can make a big difference. Everyone can help, no matter who you are or how old you are.
