Nora

Most likely to change the world with $8.15.

When Nora first learned about the water crisis, she thought, “I should do something about this. This is a problem that needs to be fixed.” She decided to mail in $8.15. The rest is (charity: water) history.

As the star of our 2018 World Water Day campaign, Nora’s generosity inspired 3,797 other people to give. And if we had to guess, we’d bet that Nora will only keep inspiring the rest of us to build a better world alongside her.

One of my dreams is to be President of the United States. But I don’t know how that’s going to work, because I’m also going to be in space. Those are some of my dreams. One of my dreams is also to make the world perfect. To not have people littering, to not have any pollution, or any animals on the extinction list. ‘Who’s up next for extinction? Nobody!’ That should be what happens.

We should be able to enjoy wildlife, make sure that nothing is scarce, keep the Earth clean, and make sure that people get what they need most instead of what they want. You need to have water. You need to have food and shelter. You don’t need video games or the things that keep you inside and away from doing what you can do to make a difference.

Here’s my message: Kids can make a big difference. Kids are strong. Kids can do what a kid’s gotta do. You don’t need to do something big and fancy. Just do what you need to do. This water crisis is huge. People need water. They don’t want it; they need it. And you can make a big difference.
