"2 By 2" grows exponentially when we all say Yes. Your single "wave" will be 1-1/2 MILLION PEOPLE strong after 20 weeks (or 20 "crests" of giving and asking two.) Your wave consists of Person#1's two asks, then the 2 who accept each of their asks, so on, doubling each crest until 20 MILLION DOLLARS is raised as of the 20th crest.
