Hey friends and family, my birthday is coming up in May. This year has been such an incredible year for me. I "donated" my birthday to Charity:Water last year and we raised well over $100! As many of you know I spent some time last summer volunteering at an orphanage. I now know just how difficult it is to carry a 40 pound jerry can of water. The first time I tried to carry a bucket of water on my head, I got drenched. Our kids thought it was hilarious. Even though it was quite the workout, we were really happy that our kids and the community had access to clean water. Millions of kids around the world don't live to see their fifth birthday because they don't have access to clean, safe drinking water. We can help change that.

I'm asking for all my friends and family to donate to Charity:Water for my birthday. Any amount donated is appreciated. Every penny of the money raised will directly fund clean water projects in developing countries. Even better, Charity:Water will show us exactly which projects we funded once they've been fully completed (which takes about 18 months).
