800 million people in developing countries don't have clean water. They have to walk hours to collect dirty water, and the walk itself may be dangerous. Even when they get the water back to their family, it might be doing little more than killing them slowly.

charity: water creates solutions for these families in their communities, like installing wells and sanitation stations, and sends 100% of money donated straight to water project costs. Which means every penny you donate, whether you can give a small amount or large, truly counts. Money spent on providing clean water can free up the time especially young girls spend on collecting water rather than getting an education; having a chance for a different future.

The $200 I'm hoping to raise will bring 10 people clean water. If we can raise more than that, we can help even more people! When the project is finished, we'll all be able to see photos and GPS coordinates of the exact community our money helped aid.

This is 'for Sergio' in honor of a fish I was watching who passed away. I'm sure there are those who think it doesn't matter if a fish dies, but it matters to me, and it matters to me if there are people in the world who can't even have something as simple as a clean glass of water.
