Hello Beautiful friends!

On the 13th, I'm turning my lucky number - 33! 2016 has been a year of many lessons for me, including really understanding what's important in this short and beautiful time we call life. For my birthday this year, I created a campaign with charity: water. My goal is to raise $1,000 to help 33 people get access to clean water. The most amazing part is that you could help end the crisis - if each one of my family, friends, social media friends donated even just $1, we could definitely hit this birthday goal! So, instead of buying me a drink this year, it would mean so much to me if we used that money to help others get access to clean water.

I love charity: water because it uses 100% of your donation to build wells, and not a single dollar is used for salaries, rent, or anything that doesn’t directly affect the communities in need. 100% of the money will be used to build clean water projects, and when they’re complete, charity: water will send us photos and GPS coordinates so we can see the exact community we helped - how amazing is that?!

Many people around the world don’t have that luxury. I've seen this first hand when I traveled to the Philippine Islands and Brazil. Every day, about 1,400 children die from diseases caused by unsafe water and poor sanitation. But it doesn’t have to be that way. There are simple solutions like drilled wells, spring protections and BioSand filters that help provide clean water to communities around the world.

Help me in celebrating this 33rd year of life, by helping others celebrate clean drinking water.
