I'm turning 27 in September and I don't really like to drink water. It's bland and boring and makes me go to the toilet a lot. Personally, I prefer apple juice or a cup of English Breakfast.
It's insane for me to be so spoilt when I know there are one billion people in the world living without clean drinking water. Such a basic necessity that I take for granted everyday isn't even an option for so many.
I'm turning 27 in September and I really haven't accomplished much in the last 26 years. But all I want for my birthday this year is to give 27 human beings access to clean and safe drinking water. I hope you can help me achieve this.
So instead of presents I ask for a little donation; $27 for 27 years of Alice, but anything you can contribute will be very much appreciated. And I'm sure the 27 human beings you will help hydrate will also be very grateful.
100% of your donation will go directly to building a well in a community. Your donation is tax deductible. You will have a warm fuzzy feeling inside knowing that you have helped bring clean drinking water to a community. Win, win, win.
So please contribute a little this year before I turn 37 and ask for a lot.
thanks... alice*
ps. Look around the website. If you like the work charity: water are doing, spread the word and let your friends know about it. Maybe there's another September baby out there that'll do the same.
sorry for the late donation...
Happy Birthday pet!
