UPDATE: Just hit the goal of $400 and my birthday is still 5 days away! It'll be fun to see the final tally. Thank you to everyone who contributed, I really appreciate it :)
Over the last couple months, I kept finding myself thinking about how fortunate I am. I have so much to be grateful for that I so easily take for granted. For my 21st birthday, I have decided to try and raise some money for people that need it more than I do. My friend used Charity Water for a fundraiser a while back, and only had good things to say so I decided to read up on it a little. Charity Water is an organization that funds clean water projects in developing nations. It's crazy that something as simple as clean water is such a huge problem for some! I'll go fill up a glass for water and not think twice about it, yet there are people dying around the world from lack of clean water. Instead of getting some money or things I don't truly need, I think raising money to help some of these people out would be awesome. This particular project will be helping people in Ethiopia where more than half the people don't have access to potable water. So help me celebrate my birthday this year and let's get some clean water to these folks!
I'm not all the dog Duke and Jasper are, but I wanted to give you enough to get over $700. Arf Arf
