For many of us here in the U.S, it's nearly impossible to imagine daily life without a steady, clean water supply. But around 1 billion people in the world don't have it like we do.

In many countries around the world, mothers often walk as much as 6 hours to the nearest water source to provide their children with water. What kind of water, you may ask? Well, to answer your question, imagine a small puddle in the woods, that is home to many seen..and unseen organisms. Instead of being crisp and clear, like pure water should be, it is murky and still. The concept of water is simple, to give and sustain life. These puddles and lakes sometimes do the exact opposite, infecting the person drinking it with water-borne diseases, such as cholera and diarrhea.

For this reason, I have started this campaign to fund a water well for a village. This well, as I have been informed many times, is to provide around 250 people with fresh, clean water. The very thought of such water compared to that puddle is amazing. So please, if you have some extra cash laying around, why not donate a couple of bucks?
