Last year, I was privileged enough to listen to Scott Harrison, CEO of Charity: Water speak about his passion for life-- his own and others. At that conference, I elected to give up my 27th birthday (presents, dinners, etc) to give to those people who painstakingly journey through extreme conditions to receive clean water.

What's different about Charity:water?
- Each drill/rig is attached with a GPS and video camera so that you can track and see the progress of each well.
- 100% of the proceeds go to the purchase of rigs and development of wells. Operations are funded through corporate donors.

This year, I ask that you not purchase a gift or lunch or anything for me. Instead, please help me give to this organization that provides this sustainable basic resource to those who are faced with seemingly insurmountable conditions.
