Many of us have no idea what it's like to be thirsty. We have plenty of water to drink -- even the water in our toilets is clean!

But many people around the world don’t have that luxury. Every day, about 1,400 children die from diseases caused by unsafe water and poor sanitation. But it doesn’t have to be that way. There are simple solutions like drilled wells, spring protections and BioSand filters that help provide clean water to communities around the world.

We have started this fundraising campaign to help charity: water build these types of projects around the world.

Taylor and I recently heard about charity : water and the great work they are doing all over the world. We loved their belief that everyone can get behind clean water. We truly believe that we are blessed beyond measure, by friends, family, and our material needs. Therefore, we thought we'd use our wedding as an opportunity to give! We are aiming to build a well by raising $10,000, or an average of $50 a guest.

We would love for you to check out what charity : water does, how they do it, and join in our mission to give kids a better chance to grow up healthy...and maybe even start their own family one day.

By the way, charity : water's promise is that 100% of the money will be used to build clean water projects, and when they’re complete, they will send us photos and GPS coordinates so we can see the exact community we all helped.
