Asalamu Alaykum,
In this blessed month of Ramadan, it was thought to start an initiative in which those who do not have access to water can be provided water. A hadith states, The Messenger of Allah (saw) was asked, “Which charity is best?” He replied, “[Providing] water”’. [Abu Dawud].
We have easy access to water Alhamdulillah, we are able to turn on the faucet to shower, wash dishes and are easily able to wash our clothes. Many of us have no idea what it's like to be thirsty. We have plenty of water to drink -- even the water in our toilets is clean!
Every day, about 1,400 children die from diseases caused by unsafe water and poor sanitation. But it doesn’t have to be that way. There are simple solutions like drilled wells, spring protections and BioSand filters that help provide clean water to communities around the world.
Not everyone in this world has the oppurtunity or the means to do so. With the blessings Allah has provided us, why don't we help others who do not have acess to clean water?

This fundraising campaign was started to help charity: water build these types of projects around the world, and I'm looking for anyone who can help me.

100% of the money will be used to build clean water projects, and when they’re complete, charity: water will send us photos and GPS coordinates so we can see the exact community we helped.
