Christmas is a time for family, celebration and love.
It’s also a time when America spends around $500 billion on Christmas gifts. That's more than $600 per person. This Christmas, I'm taking a step back -- I want to give more than gifts that fit in boxes.
I want to give people life.
800 million people are living without clean drinking water on our planet. My mission is to give clean water for Christmas this year. Just $65 is enough money to fund a BioSand Filter and serve an entire family with clean water for years to come. Which means we can change the lives of so many families in need. My goal is to raise a total of $2,015 (thats $65 multiplied by 31 a.k.a the number of days in the month of December; if we make our goal this can bring 134 people clean water)
100% of every dollar I raise will go directly to water projects. And when the projects are complete, charity: water will show us GPS coordinates, photos and other details about the communities we've helped. Please join me by donating and giving clean water to families in Cambodia!
Happy Holidays :)
Thank you for making a difference! Very proud of you.
