i am in my last days as a 29-year-old and holy moly what an utterly transformative year it has been. i am so much stronger than i ever imagined and so vulnerable it makes me sick. i love myself more than i ever have and am more aware of my shortcomings and flaws than i've ever been. my wildest dreams have been met and surpassed and matched only by their equal and opposite nightmares. i've been the fly and the spider, went up too high and down too low, sorted through a lifetime's worth of paperwork both literally and spiritually. i am figuring it out. i am here and grateful for every day i get to be here. i am grateful for every day you are here, as your presence and support has been my permission to figure it out. i am turning 30. i used to believe that meant a lot of definitive and kind of scary things. what it actually means is that i have successfully spent 30 years on this planet, and those 30 years have taught me that is no small feat. they've taught me to listen, they've taught me you get what you give, they've taught me magic is real and so is love and that anything is possible and that is both a glorious and terrible truth. i am turning 30 and taking a page out of an inspiring 15 year old scorpio sister's book and asking that if you feel called to make an offering for this sunday reading, or any of them, or like, wanna gimme a bday prezzy, or generally pay your good fortune forward please send some money magic to my Charity Water bday campaign, an inspiring organization funding water projects worldwide to provide as many people as possible with access to clean water.

i've had so many chances in this life, some that i am keenly aware of and others that my privilege has kept me blind to. water is the the most fundamental one. i have everything i need and now what i need is to honor the water that's given it to me. thank you for anything you feel called to contribute. i love you please remember to drink water.
