ONE THOUSAND DOLLARS?!?! The hugest thank you to everyone who has donated so far or who has given my money to give on your behalf. The response has been amazing! BUT....KEEP EM COMING!!
My 19th birthday is nigh and I know I don't need anything. But I do need you to do something for me. This year I WANT this gift. I want to give the gift of WATER.
I ask you to give $20, which is only £13.20- a CDs worth- or $10- £6.60 which is like 2 drinks worth on a night out-or anything you can or are willing to give to go towards my goal. If you haven't given me a birthday present before then that's ok, make this year your first year!
Women and children around the world walk hours every day to collect water for their families. And the worst part? The water they collect makes them really sick. But we can do something! Just $20 can give a person clean water to drink.
100% of the money we raise will directly fund water projects around the world, and when those projects are complete, charity: water will send us photos and GPS coordinates so we can see the impact we made. I can't think of a better birthday gift.
Please donate to my campaign, and make this the best birthday ever!
Granny and Gramps- thank you for both of your donations! even though the one below came up in my name...
Happy 19th Birthday Becks! I hope one day we're all a little more like you, the world would be a better place. Hope you have a fantastic day today, Mxxx
Happy birthday xxxx
