Sometimes we take things like clean water for granted...but not after a 12K run. In three months, we're going to be participating in the 100th running of the infamous Bay to Breakers in San Francisco on May 15th.

It's going to require prayer, training, determination, endurance, strength and a whole lot of moral support.

We are inspired to give and run when we think of the millions of women and children who have to walk miles each day to retrieve water for their families, when we think of how most of that hard-earned water isn't even clean and can infect people with deadly diseases, and when we think about how 45,000 people die each day from waterborne illnesses.

Our mission is to raise $5000 for water in the next three months. We want every step to matter, so we're asking for your donations to help achieve our goal. Because of charity:water's unique model, 100% of all donations go directly to water projects and each donation is "proved" using Google Earth when projects are complete.

Please donate whatever you can but as an added bonus for those of you who donate $100 or more, you lucky individuals will get your names emblazoned on our shirts in Sharpie for all to see as we run. And we'll be sure to take and post plenty of pictures of us at the race as evidence of your generosity.
