goal
My birthday is around the corner and instead of asking for gifts, I'm asking for all of you to help me share the gift of clean water.
Did you know that almost a billion people on the planet don’t have access to clean drinking water? Every day, nearly 4,000 kids die from water-related illnesses before they reach their fifth birthday. It doesn't have to be that way. There are simple solutions like drilled wells, spring protections and BioSand filters--and you can help provide these to the people who need them.
100% of every dollar you donate to my birthday campaign will be used to build clean water projects in developing countries. charity: water funds their operating costs separately through a group of private donors, so 100% of all public donations will go directly to people in need.
Any amount will help, but as I'm turning 27, I'd like to recommend giving $27. I hope you'll help me reach my goal of $450, which will provide clean water for drinking, bathing and cooking to one family in India, saving them from parasites, cholera and death.
Need some ideas to save $27?
--> Make coffee at home for a week instead of going to Starbucks/Dunkin Donuts
--> Make dinner instead of going out
--> Skip cocktail hour on Friday
--> Use coupons the next time you go grocery shopping
THANK YOU!!
Happy Birthday Beth! From your co-workers at RAIN Group
Happiest of Birthday's to you Beth!
Happy Birthday!
