This is one way to honor all the hard work by the players, cheerleaders, coaches, and trainers this season. The club will expire on 12/7/10, to give a purpose and finsh date, that is about the length of the football season.
Our family pledges to donate $1 for each touchdown scored by the team this season. If the team averages 5 a game for the 10 game season, that would be $50 from our family, if 10 more people donate the same amount, that would be enough to supply 25 people with a permanent supply of fresh clean water.
We are so blessed here in our lives in many ways, I know I don't even give having water a second thought. Thanks for taking the time to read this.
48 - 12 Quaterfinal victory over Woodland, congratulations to the team and coaches. $7 more for the cause, off to the Semi-finals tonight :)
Off to Trumbull HS for the big Thanksgiving match-up. SJ led at the half but Trumbull battled back in the second half. It was good to see #52 back on the field. 3 TD's and 2 3 pointers by Joe Docarmo. Off to the playoffs!
Here we go, lets catch up on the last two games. Off to Norwalk on a cool fall Friday night. The final tally, SJ 49, Norwalk 20. The next week saw the Cadets face Greenwich at home...and the Hogs were victorious FOR THE FIRST TIME EVER against the Cardinals!!!!! 22-20 was the score at the end. So this week we have $28 from the stands/snack shack, thank you to everyone and 10 more TD's for a total of $38 . Wednesday night at Trumbull HS for the last game of the regular season. Thank you again to everyone for their support. Check in for more updates.
MSG game of the week, and what a game it was. Knocked off the until then undefeated New Cannan Rams. First game back for #44 and great play at the end of the game by Jerry Kramer to stop the two-point conversion. Next was the Warde on Armed Forces Day. 164 yards by LJ and 3 TD's for Tyler. 9 TD's and $24 from the stands. Thanks to the Irwin and Cargnel families for their donations.
