Many of us have no idea what it's like to be thirsty. We have plenty of water to drink -- even the water in our toilets is clean!
But many people around the world don’t have that luxury. Every day, about 1,400 children die from diseases caused by unsafe water and poor sanitation. But it doesn’t have to be that way. There are simple solutions like drilled wells, spring protections and BioSand filters that help provide clean water to communities around the world.
I started this fundraising campaign to help charity: water build these types of projects around the world, and I'm looking for anyone who can help me.
Please donate to my campaign -- anything you can give is a huge help.
100% of the money will be used to build clean water projects, and when they’re complete, charity: water will send us photos and GPS coordinates so we can see the exact community we helped.

Over 650 Million people on our planet don't have access to clean water. 650 MILLION! That's around double the population of the entire USA. Every day we take for granted a working toilet, a glass of water, brushing our teeth, taking a shower, or washing your hands. The holiday season is here and Thanksgiving is right around the corner. While we will all be giving thanks for what we have and who we have, I don't believe anything shows thankfulness like giving back. So this holiday season, let's give some people who have so much less, something to be thankful for. Thanksgiving or Christmas, it doesn’t matter the time or the amount.
This Campaign will be open for 51 days (closes on December 31st). Give for Thanksgiving or Christmas or both!
Charity:Water takes our donations and uses 100% of it for clean water projects, like building clean water infrastructure for communities that have none. None of your money goes to administrative/operating costs or salaries as that is all covered by separate, private donations.
