my 23rd birthday is coming up and with all of the destruction and suffering that is going on all around the world i thought i would try to do something a little different, somethign that could really make a difference in the lives of others. I am so blessed and fortunate for all that I have and it would be selfish to ask for more and more when i could use this occasion to give something back. It only costs $5,000 through charity:water to construct a water well for an entire village, providing clean water to hundreds at a time and reducing the number of lethal diseases that plague those living in third world conditions. 100% of contributions go towards the cause, and how amazing it is to know that with just minimal effort on our parts, we can make a lifetime of difference for an entire village. Please find it in your hearts to give anything you can, not just for my birthday, but for those who suffer everyday. It may even make you feel good about yourself knowing that you have a part in providing for others who are powerless to provide even the most basic necessity for themselves and their families.
