There are 800million ppl in the world living without access to clean water. I'm pledging my birthday to help others

My birthday is on it's way. I'm not usually excited about throwing a huge dinner because it's such a hassle. This year is different. I found something that can be done in a click of a button. This charity water project fell in my lap. I'm really thankful to have lived another happy, healthy year and I feel like I should show that by giving back. I learned that millions of kids around the world don't live to see their fifth birthday because they don't have access to clean, safe drinking water. We can help change that.

I'm asking for my age (soon to be 22) in dollars from everyone I know (or more). If you can't afford that you can donate as little as $1. Every penny of the money raised will directly fund clean water projects in developing countries. Even better, charity: water will show us exactly which projects we funded once they've been fully completed (which takes about 18 months). That means we'll know the locations and names of the communities we helped.
