goal
Have you ever said "I'm dying of thirst!" - and actually meant it?
My goal this year is to make a difference in someone's life - a meaningful difference. Making sure even one less child worries about whether their next drink of water will make them ill is an accomplishment. Nearly 4,500 children die each year because of waterborne diseases. We can prevent this!
How many of us leave the tap on while we brush our teeth? Fill swimming pools each summer? Water our lawns on those hot summer days?
Now, how many of us have ever gone to that murky puddle and taken a drink? This is something we'll hopefully never have to do - and something we can definitely prevent someone from ever having to do.
100% of all donations go directly to building clean water projects in developing countries with charity: water! We'll be able to see photos of the projects we helped to build and the lives we helped to change.
I'm asking for a donation of $20 to help do something big, something that will bring hope. Even if you can't afford a small donation I ask that you share this with your friends and your family - every penny counts!
Thank YOU!
