Christmas is almost here! It's been in your schedule for months, I know :-)
Hot on the heels of donating my 40th Birthday for the Charity; Water cause, it's time to give up the commercialization of Christmas for the cause too! I didn't make my target of $2,000 for my birthday but want folk to know that this year...no Christmas presents either! I'm not the victim of the Grinch stealing Christmas or issues in Elf activity - I've already got everything in the world that anyone could possibly need...including clean drinking water!
Millions of kids around the world don't live to see their fifth birthday because they don't have access to clean, safe drinking water.

Don't buy a card...donate! The average card costs about three bucks, uses precious resources and will end up in the trash can! If I was on your Christmas card (or honored enough to be on the present "nice" list) - donate! Every penny of the money raised will directly fund clean water projects in developing countries. Even better, charity: water will show us exactly which projects we funded once they've been fully completed (which takes about 18 months). That means we'll know the locations and names of the communities we helped.
