To commemorate 22 years of existence (thanks mom), I'd like to continue whining to the ones I love about more things I want.
You all know I love beer. But I'm getting pudgy and spoilt. And because I'm narcissistic, I'd love if I could make every year of my lazy life count for someone else for once.
It's seems ridiculous that over 1.8 billion people drink from sources contaminated with faeces; that over 80% of illnesses in developing countries can be attributed to the lack of access to clean water; that diseases stemming from contaiminated water claim the life of a child every two minutes.
charity:water directs 100% of the money raised to water projects, with every S$42 raised connecting one person to safe sources of drinking water. Every dollar goes towards making sure that access to clean water won't remain a pipe dream for one in 9 people in the world.
