In many African countries, people have to travel for miles in intense heat to obtain fresh water for their families and community. This seemingly simple task frequently takes the whole day. The best thing about charity water is 100 % of the donations go directly to those on the ground who need it most. I challenge all my friends and family to donate to this cause. While It's wonderful that ALS has been brought to light, let's make filling buckets of fresh water just as easy in every corner of the world as it is here in the US.
